For a solid year, I lead a creative team that created recommendation engines, creative episodic content, microsites, and various other digital activations and advertising for Hulu.

This fun, light, mobile, optimized site was an example of one of the many digital recommendation engines we gave to the client. The goal was to make something useful and fun to play with. In addition, it had to be evergreen and skinable/scaleable for future uses over time.

As mentioned above, this experience needed to be easily customizable for thematic re-skinning and promotions. For the holidays, the cube was easily turned into a block of snow and used as a promotional mechanic to give away show themed gifts to their most loyal subscribers.


One of my daily responsibilities was to oversee creatively the social activations, acquisitions, and weekly content for Hulu. This was a role that involved working with a strategist and a team of writers and designers to create planned and reactive content for weekly shows and other series. This content included light activations, social platform-specific content, micro videos, and various other unique pieces of content.
