Summer of 2016, I was hired by Happylucky in Portland to concept and art direct the Karlie Kloss/adidas/Six02 campaign. The adidas sub-brands represented within the partnership were Athletics, Training, and Stella McCartney. All content was designed to be used within retail, social media, and beyond.

Upon establishing an aesthetic that laddered up to each sub-brand’s visual identity, I concepted and developed story lines and unique training scenarios that would challenge Karlie as an adidas creative athlete, giving us a chance to tell a robust story and reflect her “up for any challenge” mindset and athletic abilities. In addition, I worked to establish training poses that would showcase her elongated, elegant features, contrasting against an industrial, heavily textured backdrop.

Once concepts had been approved by adidas and Karlie, I partnered with Marcus Smith and Priestly to bring the shoot to life.
